MEDICAL SPECIALIST TRAINING
Gaining specialisation in a certain area of medicine is an integral part of medical specialist training in Germany. Training programmes can take five to six years and are conducted at university medical centres or other facilities which are authorised to provide specialist training.
ALTERNATIVE DEGREE PROGRAMMES IN THE MEDICAL FIELD
If you’d like to study Medicine in Germany, you’ll quickly discover that it’s not divided into bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes like other subjects. There are, however, some master’s programmes in the medical field. These do not allow you to practice medicine as a licensed doctor.
